His work focuses on power system dynamic modeling and simulation, power system stability, and analysis and control of electric machines.

John Miksad • Senior Vice President of Electric Operations for the Consolidated Edison Company of New York. John is responsible for the safe and reliable delivery of electrical energy in the five boroughs of New York, and Westchester County.

Jack Stanley • Director and Curator of the Thomas Edison Menlo Park Museum . Jack runs the museum on the site of Edison's famous laboratory in Menlo Park, NJ.

Dr. Michael V.L. Bennet • Professor of Neuroscience at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. An early pioneer in the field of neuroscience, Dr. Bennett helped uncover the electrical processes in nerve cells.

Dr. Neil Pliskin • Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Neurology and Director of Neurobehavior Program, University of Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Pliskin is a nationally recognized expert in the area of electrical shock injuries, and helped start University of Chicago's Electrical Trauma Program.

Steve and Joyce Marshburn • Founders of Lightning Strike and Electric Shock Survivors International. Thirty years ago, Steve was injured when a lightning strike surged through the electrical system of the bank where he worked. He has since devoted his life to running LS&ESSI, an invaluable resource providing hope and community to countless survivors around the world.
